From fetish to high fashion

The leather skirt first appeared on the runways in the 1960s, with the white leather mini-skirt and the black leather A-line designs. From there, the 1970s saw the addition of fringe and flower appliques to the basic leather skirt, while the 80s punk era featured studs. Now, the leather skirt returns with a vengeance... moving from a hidden fetish to high fashion!

The leather skirt is perhaps the most versatile and essential part of your winter wardrobe. Seen here with a classic pair of my sensual almost elbow high gloves, a leather skirt can be embellished with studs for the biker chic look or kept feminine and elegant with a blazer or sweater. It's your choice...

Choose your style...

- petite: pair a straight leather skirt with boots and a cropped top.

- pear-shaped: this body shape is best complemented by an A-line leather skirt. Try it with a simple turtleneck, a slim belt, and your favorite pair of my silk lined every day glace gloves for a very elegant look.

- tall: look to match a slimming leather skirt with a longer, oversized top and a pair of scrunched my sensual shoulder high gloves.
